Although the hotel advertivses itself to have wifi, this is a complete lie. The wifi did not work either in our room or anywhere else in the hotel. My girlfriend went ONCE to the frontdesk to ask in a friendly way if anything could be done about the wifi situation.
The reception proceeds to barge in our room claiming we do indeed have wifi and that it is our fault for not being able to use it. Now, we are tech savvy and have about 5 wifi capable devices none of which worked so this is obviously a bold face lie.
Starts calling my girlfriend a "bitch" and a "piece of shit" as well as behaving in what she perceived to be a physically threatening manner. Furthermore as soon as i checked out i contacted a local hotel for an emergency booking the next day and recieved a booking for 7 days 2 days less than my original one for a lower price thab at YASHA. Well there is your problem. As a Luxembourger I would never ever book an hotel in that area. Everything facing the actual Central station, so on the "rue de la Liberte" is fine Don't get me wrong, I am not judging.
Compared to other cities, it's still a nice and habitable area with some other businesses and bars, etc But for Luxembourg, it's one of the worst areas you can go in the entire country. Personally, I don't trust any business that has a "testemonial" page. I mean to be perfectly honest i am not bothered one bit by the location. I am from a third world country so i dont get easily scared and the location next to the main station far outweights anything bad about the street.
